Playin' Catch up the last 2 months

So its been forever since I've posted and so much has happened and I'm not quite sure where the last 2 months have gone.
For Memorial day we went camping in Island Park with Travs family. We headed up Saturday morning and it was rainy and cold. Not the best way to start off a camping trip! When we got to Island park it was raining and nasty so we decided to wait till it stopped to set up our tent. Saturday afternoon it finally cleared up enough for us to get our tent set up and go fishing. We had so much fun fishing, everyone caught something. And I caught my very first fish(Trav had to take it off the hook and gut it cause i wouldn't touch it haha). That night it went from raining to snowing so we decided to go to Travs families cabin to roast marshmallows and have s'mores. It snowed about 3 inches while we were at the cabin and when we got back to our campsite our tent had collapsed! The snow was so wet and heavy that it actually broke the poles of the tent. Luckily no one was using the cabin, so we were able to stay there for the night. Sunday afternoon we were able to go to West End and go fishing with Miranda and Trent and his family. We had absolutely no luck there. And just like Saturday, it rained all day! But despite all the rain and snow we still had a lot of fun!

We spent alot of time in the camp trailor due to the rain!

My VERY first fishy!!

Travis caught the biggest fish out of everyone there!

The snow would have been very pretty if it wasn't almost JUNE!!!!!

Lyndsey, Adam and Landon.
On June 25th we participated in the Relay for Life. It was such an amazing and emotional event! We had such an awesome turn out. I think we had the biggest team there with 52 team members! Thanks everyone for all your support. We love you all!!

June also brought the annual trip to Bear Lake with my Mother-in-Laws family. We always have so much fun boating and hanging out at the beach.

All in all its been a good summer so far and we can't wait to see what else is going to happen!

I can't believe it is May already and Travis is now 24. He is getting SOOOO old ;) For his birthday we spent the day with Khylee, celebrating her birthday as well. We went to Pocatello and roller skating at Deleta and ate lunch at Wingers. All in all it was a pretty good Day.

~.~hApPy EaStEr~.~

This year Easter was so much fun! Saturday we met at the Church to watch the kids do an Easter egg hunt.(Because of all the snow we got on Friday the hunt had to be inside) After the easter egg hunt we went to my parents house to color eggs. All the kids are getting old enough that they actually want to participate in coloring eggs, so now the adults have to share.
On Sunday we got up to see what "The Easter Bunny" brought us. And then we headed out to my parents house for dinner with my Grandparents. We had such a good Easter and we hope you all did too!

Tayven wasn't quite sure what to do with it all, so he tried to dye a crayon instead.

Max had to do it himself...needless to say we ended up with quite a few cracked eggs

Go JaZz!

The last weekend we had the opportunity to go to Utah with my sister and brother in law. It was deffinately a much needed get way. We did way to much shopping and spent WAY to much money. But it was so worth it. We also went to the Utah Jazz game against the New orleans Hornets. It was such a good game, even though the jazz won by 20 points. We also went to Temple Square (I had never been before) and took a tour of the Conference center. We were able to go out on top of the building and see all the plants that grow up there. It was really cool to see all the historical paintings and stuff they have inside the buidling. All in all it was a pretty good weekend!

This is a picture from where we sat at the game. It was SOOO high up. We were sitting on the very top row of the upper bowl.

I can't believe that Christmas has come and gone and that we are now in a new decade! We had a great Christmas and new years.
On Christmas eve we got up early and headed up to Island Park to spend some time with John. Leslie and the kids. We spent the day riding snow machines and hanging out. We also made a village of ginger bread houses. Some turned out better than others.

Christmas Morning!

For breakfast Christmas morning Leslie had made us yummy Cinnamon rolls. After eating and opening presents we headed back to Rexburg to spend the rest of the day with my family. We had Christmas dinner at my Grandparents house. We are so glad they are still here with us. For the remainder of the day we played games and enjoyed each other. It was a Great Christmas! We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas too!

Candy Making!

Every year before Christmas, all the girls get together at Linda's and make candy to share. Every year someone has to make their candy atleast twice...and i guess this was my year. I decided to make toffee this year. It was a total experiment, I had never made it before. The first batch wouldn't set so it got dumped down the sink and i tried again. Need less to say, the second batch worked out alot better than the first. We have so much fun spending the day together laughing and have a good time. Its something i look forward to every year.

This is how Lyndsey spent most of the day. I guess candy making is just to much for her!
